- review Young Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) has to lead a hard life: His parents have died in a car crash when he was still a baby, and he is being brought up by his Uncle Vernon (Richard Griffiths) and Aunt Petunia (Fiona Shaw). For some reason unbeknownst to the bespectacled ten-year-old, the Dursleys let him live in the small chamber under the stairs, and treat him more like vermin than like a family member. His fat cousin Dudley Harry Melling), the Dursley's real son, keeps bothering Harry all the time. On his eleventh birthday, Harry Potter finally receives a mysterious letter from a certain Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, telling him that he is chosen as one of the future students of that supposedly renowned school. Hagrid (Robbie Coltrane), the gigantic man who brought the letter, finally introduces Harry into the real circumstances of his life: His parents were a wizard and a witch, they were killed by the evil wizard Voldemort (Richard Bremmer) protecting him. Harry still has a lightning-shaped scar on his forehead from that event. Since he survived the attack as a baby, and also somehow deprived Voldemort from his powers, he has been famous in the wizarding world ever since. The Dursleys, strong disbelievers in that magical crap, never told Harry anything about his true self. So, Harry is strongly surprised, yet absolutely happy to start his training. At Hogwarts, Harry meets his teachers, and becomes friends with Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) and Hermione Granger (Emma Watson). The three of them accidentally find out that the potions master, Severus Snape (Alan Rickman), seems to plot on stealing something that is guarded by a three-headed dog. Since nobody would believe some first years to have found out such important things that even would incriminate a Hogwarts teacher, they take it on themselves to find out what Snape is up to. Their quest for the truth leads across many obstacles, from keeping up the everyday school life, a bewitched Quidditch match (Quidditch is a popular wizard sport), Fluffy, the three-headed monster dog, and quite some tasks one has to overcome to get to the guarded object

It was Harry Potter and The Sorting Hat or Philosopher's Stone Scene...
4:45 Swine Flu...
For those interested, the opening was the Centre Counter Game. An opening frowned on by Chess Grandmasters. But an occasional surprise weapon at lower levels.
Oh my gosh this scene always gives me the chills and it just gets me. The actor who plays Olivander is perfect for that character- mysterious, wise, intriguing, and has a little bit of fun with his job- he plays him perfectly, and that combined with the music in this scene makes this probably one of the best scenes in the entire movie and probably the series. I LOVE IT.
What I'd give to scare my enemies the way Hagrid scares the Dursleys. Lol the acting. As a kid I loved this film, and still kinda do. But the child actors in the first two films are horrendous. Such cringe. You can tell Snape knows Quirrel let the troll in by the way he looks at him. My Favorite Part is 1:25 lol its creepy because of the music. The acting is so bad. The way Harry said checkmate was so boss. How to scare harrys uncle show a pikture on hagrd holding a umbrella. Time 1:10 see Harry's face decided to sabe Hermione that's love.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone movie vodlocker Watch Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone full movie download mp4. 3:14 This is the part where Harry shoves the letter down his pants and runs out onto the front lawn yelling stranger danger whenever they try and get it. Because I don't think Mr. Dursley would be willing to stick his hand down Harry's pants on their front lawn...
From the moment J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter books were formed into movies for viewing on the big screen, we knew they would be a success across the globe - and so it proved.
Christopher Columbus was the first of numerous directors to take the director's seat and cohesively bring together a film to do justice to Rowling's original novel.
Back in the beginning, Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) was destined to become the chosen one, the one to bring balance to magic. Living with his cruel and deceitful Aunt Petunia (Fiona Shaw) and Uncle Vernon (Richard Griffiths) Harry jumps at the chance of leaving home to attend a school of magic with friendly messenger Rubeus Hagrid (Robbie Coltrane. While swiftly making friends in the form of Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) and Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) he soon realises that villainous beings may be at work in the halls of Hogwarts - the school of magic.
It's all rather exciting - even more so at the time of its release as it was the first 'Harry Potter' movie to be released.
Certainly, not the best of the collection in my eyes anyway. The trio of Radcliffe, Grint and Watson are still finding their feet and maximum acting ability - the chemistry is still developing. Also, it feels more of an introductory movie more than anything else but when watching it over again, it brings back the sense of enjoyment and happiness of viewing its evolution once more.
Concluding, I offer seven points to Gryffindor.
Am I the only one upset Harry never got any of that cake.
Hello darkness my old friend. when Harry Potter got griffindor Fred or George didnt get a hand shake and walked back to his seat LOL 😂.
Lol Dudley.
After years of not seeing this scene, and instead, watching 'you're a wizard harry' this is both brilliant and hilarious to watch lol.
Ollivander was the first person to notice the connection between Harry Potter and.
The twin wand of Voldemort himself made from the same Phoenix that was made for Voldemort's wand went up the nose of a troll.
I'm crazy.
This film is amazing! Ok, so some of my favourite moments aren't there, but a 2 hours 30 minutes I can understand.
It's also unbelievably scary! I've seen 15 rated horror films that aren't as scary as this! Especially at the end!
So my advice ! GO FORTH, AND WATCH THIS FILM! IT'S BETTER THAN A DAY WITH VIKTOR KRUM.
From the first time I saw this movie I felt in love with it ( and with Alan Rickman(actor) I hadn't seen the movie I would never ever read the HP book series.I highly recommend it.I saw it about 13 times myself and they are not enough.I learnt the words off by heart and keep talking about Harry parents and my friends got sick and tired of me speaking about HP and Snape.
Thank You.
It's chucky cheese xD.
